Marcus Rashford to miss fairytale welcome at Barcelona ahead of Manchester United exit
- Marcus Rashford will be forced to wait for his fairytale dream at Barcelona ahead of the expected move
- Rashford had been banished from first-team training at United following a fall-out with Ruben Amorim
- He is now set to get his preferred transfer after Barcelona agreed to a loan deal, but will wait for his dream scenario
Marcus Rashford is all but set to join Barcelona on a season-long loan deal if the recent media reports are anything to go by.

It has been no secret that Rashford was not in Ruben Amorim's plans following their fallout last season.
Why Marcus Rashford is leaving Manchester United
Amorim froze Rashford out of his squad shortly after he arrived from Sporting Lisbon, forcing the England international to join Aston Villa on loan in January.
Despite a relatively successful spell in Birmingham, Villa opted not to make the deal permanent, leaving Rashford to look for new suitors.
Barcelona came calling last week and sealed the deal in a couple of hours. The La Liga champions will sign him on loan with the option of making it permanent at the end of the season.
Rashford has already flown to Spain to complete the move and be ready for the start of preseason training under Hansi Flick.
The Spanish giants moved quickly to seal a deal for the 27-year-old after missing out on Nico Williams and Luis Diaz. The former extended his contract at Atletico Bilbao while Liverpool are playing hardball with the Colombian.
What dream scenario will Rashford be denied?
But even as Rashford prepares to jumpstart his career in Catalonia, the English forward is set to be denied a dream scenario to kick off his Barcelona reign.
Rashford hasn't been shy of expressing his interest in playing with Spanish sensation Lamine Yamal and playing at the iconic Camp Nou.
He has previously given a glowing tribute to Barcelona's home stadium, reminiscing on the first time they played there.
"Atmosphere-wise, I’d probably say I enjoyed Nou Camp. The first time we played there, we got beaten 3-0. We had a couple of chances, and I hit the crossbar early on. I think Paul [Pogba] had a shot that clipped the post, and this was all at 0-0," he said on Gary Neville's Overlap.
"Once they got the first goal, the crowd was different. Every time [Lionel] Messi got on the ball, it was daunting, and the crowd were shouting to make the backline nervous. It was all a mess after they scored the first goal."
Why Marcus Rashford won't play at Camp Nou yet
However, Rashford is set to be denied the dream welcome at Barcelona as Camp Nou is not yet ready.
The Joan Laporta-led club has been doing some renovations to the biggest stadium in Europe for the last two seasons.

It had initially been expected that works would be completed in time for next season, but that has been postponed to September, as reported by ESPN.
Therefore, Rashford will have to play his first few games for Barcelona at the Olympic Stadium before he gets his chance to impress at Camp Nou.
5 Man United players banned from training ground
In a separate report, Rashford was among the 5 Manchester United players banned from first-team training.
The forward has been building up on his fitness all summer and recently returned to training at Carrington.
He was, however, not allowed to mingle with the first team and could only use the facilities after Amorim and his preferred squad were done.
