Best for you , JAKARTA — Rupiah exchange rate weakened to Rp16,248 per Dollar United States (US) in today's trade, Monday (7/7/2025). Then, how about the dollar exchange rate at BCA, BRI, Bank Mandiri, and BNI today afternoon?
Quoting Bloomberg, the rupiah opened stronger by 0.38% or 63.5 points to the level of Rp16,248. The US Dollar Index fell 0.04% to the level of 97.13.
Several other Asian currencies have weakened. For example, the Japanese yen fell 0.03%, the Hong Kong dollar fell 0.01%, the Singapore dollar fell 0.1%, the Taiwanese dollar fell 0.2%, and the South Korean won fell 0.41%.
Then, the Philippine peso weakened 0.21%, the Chinese yuan weakened 0.06%, the Indian rupee weakened 0.09%, the Thai baht weakened 0.37%, and the Malaysian ringgit weakened 0.17% against the US dollar. In previous trading on Friday (4/7/2025), the rupiah closed up 10 points or 0.06% to Rp16,185 per US dollar.
Forex observer Ibrahim Assuaibi projects that for today's trading, the rupiah will be volatile but has the potential to close weaker in the range of Rp16,140 - Rp16,190 per US dollar.
There are several sentiments affecting the rupiah's movement. From abroad, the market is still focusing on the US import tariff policy, which will take effect on July 9, 2025.
So far, the US has signed trade agreements with the UK and Vietnam, as well as framework agreements with China. These tariffs, if fully implemented, would disrupt global trade and pressure major export-oriented economies in Asia.

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BBCA) set the buying rate for US dollars at Rp16,230 and the selling rate at Rp16,250 at 12:02 WIB according to e-rate.
According to TT Counter, the buy and sell prices for the US dollar were set at Rp16,083 and Rp16,383 respectively at 10:12 WIB. According to Bank Notes at 10:13 WIB, BCA also applied a buy price of Rp16,083 per US dollar and a sell price of Rp16,383 per US dollar.
USD Buying and Selling Rate at BRI Today
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) set the buy and sell rates for US dollars at 12:38 WIB, each amounting to Rp16,220 and Rp16,248 for e-rate.
Meanwhile, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar at TT Counter were set at Rp16,145 and Rp16,345 respectively until the same time.
USD Buying and Selling Rate at Bank Mandiri Today
PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. (BMRI) set the buy and sell rates for US dollars at 09.06 WIB, each at Rp16,160 and Rp16,190 respectively.
According to TT Counter, Bank Mandiri set the buying rate at Rp15,950 per US dollar and the selling rate at Rp16,300. These figures refer to the latest update on Tuesday at 9:40 WIB.
In addition, according to the Bank Notes with the latest update at 09.34 WIB, the buy and sell prices per US dollar are set at Rp15,950 and Rp16,300 respectively.
USD Buying and Selling Rate at BNI Today
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBNI) set the buy rate for US dollars at Rp16,231 and the sell rate at Rp16,248 as of 12:35 WIB based on special rates.
Meanwhile, according to TT Counter at the same time, the US dollar value for buying was at Rp16,095 and selling at Rp16,345. The same figures applied according to Bank Notes at 12:35 WIB.
