There is news about the Rumah Tabuik Pasa holding the Maarak Sorban ceremony as part of the continuation of the Piaman Cultural Tabuik 2024 in Pariaman City on Monday (15/7/2024).
Tuo Tabuik Pasa, Zulbakri, explained that the process of marak sorban aims to inform the community about the head covering (saroban) of Husein, who was killed in the Battle of Karbala.

"Then, all of us in the shop tried to save ourselves as much as possible," he explained.
She also does not know for sure what caused the fire to occur.
For the items that were saved, only a few shop equipment.
"Because it's more about saving oneself," he said.
