Redha said, before working with Sila, farmers usually only sold their tea harvest at a price of around Rp 15,000 per kilogram. However, after receiving training, guidance, and applying the right processing techniques, the value of the tea became much higher, even reaching Rp 800,000 to Rp 1,000,000 per kilogram.
Now, Sila has built around 8 main farmers, each of whom has a group of tea pickers under them. One farmer can involve up to 25 pickers, thus indirectly Sila also creates economic opportunities for hundreds of people in its supply chain.
