"Doni felt pain in his shoulder yesterday. Alhamdulillah, he is better now. He had therapy, hopefully he can play at his best tomorrow," said Erwin Rusni, assistant coach of the Indonesian national volleyball team when contacted by Best for You.
In terms of head-to-head records, Thailand has been able to perform better than Indonesia in the last three matches.
Thailand defeated Indonesia in two meetings at the SEA V League 2024.
As for Indonesia, they defeated Thailand again this year at the AVC Nations Cup.
SEA V League becomes an important event because it will be counted in the FIVB world ranking points.
Indonesia is now ranked 65th in the world and below Thailand and Vietnam.
"Our target must be (champion), then there is also the SEA Games," said Erwin.
