With a score of 4.26, Bandung City leads this list. Behind it are Bogor City, Depok City, Bekasi City, and Tasikmalaya City.
This ranking shows the dynamics of development and competitiveness between regions in West Java.

IDSD measures the productivity and progress of regions using the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) framework from the World Economic Forum (WEF).
In short, the competitiveness of a regional entity is determined by its ability to increase productivity in three lines, namely productivity in production factors, productivity driven by efficiency, and productivity driven by innovation.
These productivity drivers are incorporated into four main components and elaborated through 12 competitiveness pillars.
Each region is assessed based on the strengths and challenges in each of these aspects.
