Keta (VR), July 17, GNA-The staff, students and entire community of Keta Business College (KetaBusco) have welcomed Torgbui Tsili V of Atiavi Glime in Keta Municipality of the Volta Region.
The momentous occasion marked a significant milestone not only for Torgbui Tsili but also for the entire KetaBusco family.
Mr. Mathias Dorglo, the Spoke Person for Atiavi Glime Chief’s delegation, during an official introduction of Torgbui Tsili to the staff and students of Keta Business College, urged all to collaborate for better development.
He explained that the enstoolment of Torgbui Tsili V of Atiavi Glime was a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the area which highlighted the importance of blending modern education with traditional values, a balance that KetaBusco has always strived to maintained over the years.
“This development is expected to strengthen the bond between the college and our local community to strengthen a stronger bond among us,” he said.
He said that Torgbui Tsili’s enstoolment was expected to play a pivotal role in the development and progress of Atiavi Glime; and his educational background and experience gathered in community engagement has positioned him as a catalyst for positive change.
The community looked forward to his vision and leadership, Mr. Dorglo said.
Mr. Dorglo said that the special introduction of Torgbui Tsili was to officially inform the school authority about his new role and recognition in traditional and community development after the previous chief pass away about 15 years ago.
“This official introduction is also to inform and alert all staff, students and the public to cease to mention Torgbui Tsili’s private name which is now onwards invalid,” Mr. Dorglo cautioned.
He mentioned that anyone who would call Torgbui Tsili by his private name would be made to face the full rigours of the rules and regulations of the culture and traditional authority of Atiavi Glime.
He urged the school authorities and the public to unite and provide the necessary assistance and support to the chief and traditional leaders for the development and progress of the area.
Madam Matilda Dzotepe, the Headmistress of the school, described Torgbui Tsili as hardworking, dedicated, committed, self-disciplined and well-behaved individual whose reign would be blessed with numerous successes.
She said that the enstoolment of one of their own was a symbol of hope and progress which also demonstrated that with hard work, dedication, and a commitment to one’s roots, individuals could achieve great heights and make meaningful contributions to their various communities.
Torgbui Tsili, in his speech, pledged to be more committed and dedicated to blending educational and traditional roles together for the benefit of all.
Meanwhile, Torgbui Tsili, who was together entooled with Torgbui Hatsu V, was a dedicated physical education tutor with nine years of experience in the educational community.
With his extensive background in physical education and coaching, he was well-equipped to lead and inspire and his ability to designed and implemented dynamic physical education programmes that promoted teamwork, personal development, and inclusivity would undoubtedly serve him well in his new capacity while his leadership skills was eagerly anticipated by the people of Atiavi Glime.
Some staff and students Ghana News Agency interacted with expressed excitement about the new roles of Torgbui Tsili.
