2. George Lazenby
George Lazenby only played James Bond in one film, On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969). Although this was his first time acting on the big screen and he had no formal background in the film industry, Lazenby performed quite convincingly. He did many fight scenes himself without a stunt double, which made the film gain special recognition, even being called one of the favorites by renowned directors such as Christopher Nolan. Unfortunately, Lazenby's personal decision not to continue the contract caused his role as Bond to end shortly. Despite only appearing in one film, his contribution is still remembered because he showed an emotional side of Bond that was rarely seen at that time.
3. Roger Moore
Roger Moore held the role of James Bond for the longest period in terms of number of films, seven films between 1973 and 1985. He made his debut in Live and Let Die (1973), followed by The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Moonraker (1979), For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983), and A View to a Kill (1985). In his first two films, Moore still portrayed a rather serious Bond similar to Connery's version. However, starting from the third film, he developed a lighter and more humorous approach. Moore's Bond character is known for his distinctive humor, relaxed speech style, and the absurd situations he often faces. 4. Timothy Dalton
Timothy Dalton played Bond in two films: The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to Kill (1989). He tried to bring the Bond character back to its more serious, dark, and realistic roots as depicted by Ian Fleming. Dalton's Bond is far from the flamboyant image of Moore or the charismatic portrayal of Connery. He appears cold, calculating, and somewhat stiff. Brosnan brought together the elegance of Roger Moore with action strength and charisma reminiscent of Sean Connery. His performance in GoldenEye successfully revived public interest in the Bond franchise, which had been declining after the Dalton era. Brosnan is also known for his most refined enunciation when saying the line "The name's Bond, James Bond." However, in his last film, criticisms began to emerge regarding his physical abilities in fight scenes, which were perceived to have declined with age.
