General Requirements for LPDP Scholarship Stage 2
LPDP scholarship has many subcategories. For example, regular scholarships for studying domestically, and the World Top University or PTUD scholarships for studying abroad.

- Indonesian Citizen.
- Have completed a four-year diploma (D4) or bachelor's (S1) program for a master's scholarship; a master's (S2) program for a doctoral scholarship, or a direct doctoral (D4/S1).
- For applicants with a four-year diploma (D4)/bachelor's degree (S1) directly entering the doctorate, they must meet the following regulations:
- Having an Unconditional LoA from the Target University
- Meeting all criteria as a doctoral (S3) scholarship applicant.
- Applicants who have completed master's (S2) studies are not allowed to apply for the master's scholarship program, and applicants who have completed doctoral (S3) studies are not allowed to apply for the doctoral scholarship program.
- For applicants who are graduates from foreign universities at the previous education level, it is mandatory to submit the academic equivalence and GPA conversion results from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology through the website https://piln.kemdikbud.go.id/ or the Ministry of Religion through the website https://diktis.kemenag.go.id/penyetaraanijazah/ the screenshot of the application for diploma equivalence and GPA conversion on the website of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology or the Ministry of Religion regarding diploma equivalence and GPA conversion for applicants whose diploma equivalence and/or GPA conversion has not been issued yet.
- Not currently pursuing a master's or doctoral program, either at a domestic university or a foreign university.
- Not registering, receiving, or will receive a scholarship from another source that potentially leads to double funding while being a LPDP scholarship recipient.
- Applicants who have previously studied but did not complete their master's or doctoral studies at either domestic or foreign universities can reapply to the same academic level and must provide a certificate of withdrawal or similar document from the university as a student.
- The termination letter is uploaded together with the diploma.
- Applicants who submit an Unconditional LoA with a study start date that does not comply with LPDP regulations must submit a certificate of postponement of the academic schedule from the university, which is uploaded together with the Unconditional LoA.
- Submit recommendation letters according to the requirements of each program, issued at the latest 1 (one) year in the same month as the scholarship registration period.
- For applicants who are civil servants (PNS) and prospective civil servants (CPNS) in all LPDP scholarship programs, it is mandatory to attach a proposal letter addressed to LPDP, which must be issued by an official at least at the level of Assistant Minister (eselon II) responsible for human resource development within the Ministry/Institution or Local Government, to participate in the LPDP scholarship program.
- For applicants who are TNI personnel, in all LPDP scholarship programs, it is mandatory to attach a proposal letter addressed to LPDP from at least the official responsible for human resource development at the TNI Headquarters/Army/Naval/Air Force.
- For applicants who are POLRI members, in all LPDP scholarship programs, it is mandatory to attach a proposal letter addressed to LPDP from at least the official responsible for human resource development at the POLRI Headquarters, to participate in the LPDP scholarship program.
- Choosing the destination university and study program in accordance with LPDP regulations.
- Have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and language requirements in accordance with the regulations set by each scholarship program.
- Approve the statement letter provided in the LPDP scholarship registration application (attached points).
- Writing a personal profile including incomplete (not graduated) educational background in the application form.
- Write a commitment to return to Indonesia, post-study plans, and plans for contribution in Indonesia.
- Writing a Research Proposal for Applicants of the Doctoral Program.
- If the applicant has scientific publications, competition/ non-competition achievements, and organizational experience, the applicant fills in the scientific publication history, competition/non-competition achievements, and organizational experience in the application.

Scholarships are only intended for regular classes or classes designated by LPDP, and are not intended for the following classes:
- Executive Class
- Special Class
- Worker Class
- Distance Learning Class
- The class is not held at the main university
- International Class for applicants with the purpose of studying domestically;
- Classes held in more than 1 (one) college country, or
- Other classes that do not meet LPDP regulations.
