Section 2: Section 2 Tol Tungkal Jaya-Bayung Lencir. Length 56 km carried out by contractor PT PP (Persero) Tbk - PT Nindya Karya (KSO) in 2 work packages.
That is Section 2A, 37.36 km long. Physical progress 3.88 percent and Section 2B, 18.40 km long, with a progress of 5.86 percent.
Section 3: Section 3 of the Banyung Lencir-Tempino Toll Road, 34.10 km long, construction is 100% complete and has been operational since the end of 2024.
Section 4: Section 4 Tol Tempino-Interchange Ness (Tol Tempino-Ness) in Muara Jambi Regency.
Currently, a 18.49 km construction acceleration is being carried out with 98.72 percent land progress and 80.04 percent physical progress.
Construction work of the Betung-Tempino-Jambi Toll Road Section 4 is targeted to be completed in 2025.
With the existence of the Jambi-Sumsel toll road, the travel time between the two provinces can be reduced by 2 hours.
The Sumsel Jambi or Jambi-Sumsel Toll Road is part of the main corridor (back bone) network of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road, to improve regional connectivity from Lampung Province to Aceh, spanning 2,107 km.
