Ramlan explained that the evacuation process prioritizes sick children and elderly people.

According to Ramlan, the residents of Kebon Pala are accustomed to flooding, so they will only evacuate when the water reaches the roof.
"Here, if the alert is not yet one, people have not evacuated yet. It is usually when the water reaches the roof that the residents start to evacuate," said Ramlan.
Meanwhile, the RT 13 RW 04 Village Chairman, Sanusi, said that some residents are still staying on the second floor of the house.
Although, the shelter location is already at SD Kampung Melayu 01, which is used by flood-affected residents.
"Rubber boats are being delivered here, some residents are still on top, some have gone to the shelter," he explained.
Previously, as many as 30 RT in East Jakarta were flooded on Sunday (7/6/2025) morning.
The head of the Task Force of the Regional Office of the Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) of East Jakarta, Ali, explained that the cause of flooding in the East Jakarta area is due to rain and the alert level 3.
"Reason: At 17:00 WIB, Katulampa Dam experienced a water level increase of 110 cm (alert level 3)," said Ali Saat when confirmed on Sunday (6/7/2025).
In addition, the Depok water gate also experienced a rise, becoming a trigger for flooding in East Jakarta area.
"At 21:00 WIB, the Depok Post experienced a water level rise of 270 cm (alert level 3), and at 22:00 WIB, the Depok Post experienced a water level rise of 345 cm (alert level 2," said Ali.
