Nurhadi, a member of the IX Commission of the Indonesian House of Representatives, expressed his concern over the high unemployment rate among Indonesian graduates, which has already reached more than one million people.
In his opinion, this is a systemic failure that contradicts the great potential of Indonesia's demographic bonus.

With the difficulty of finding suitable jobs, some young people choose to become "full-time grandchildren."
They take care of their grandparents, provide emotional support, and handle the daily needs of the elderly.
A 26-year-old woman revealed that taking care of her grandfather provided a better life than seeking an uncertain job.

On the other hand, a more unique phenomenon has emerged in China, the story of Ding Yuanzhao, an Oxford University graduate who now works as a food delivery rider in Singapore.
Although having a high degree from prestigious universities, Ding admitted difficulty in finding a job according to his education.
"This is a stable job. I can support my family with this income. If you work hard, you can get a decent living. This is not a bad job," said Ding, reported from Best for you , Tuesday (7/8/2025).
Although he has a higher education, the reality of the job market that cannot accommodate him forces him to accept a simpler job.
