Initial T, the Ojol Driver's Attacker, Turns Out to Be a Customs Employee, Not a Shipping Company Employee

Best for you, DIY - New facts about the man with the initial T who went viral for assaulting an online motorcycle taxi (ojol) driver in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta.
It turns out that T is not working in maritime, but works as a staff at the Customs Office on Kalimantan Island.
This fact was revealed by Nursalim, the RT leader where T lives in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta.
"Service (meaning). Maybe because of the high tone, it sounds like sailing. He works at the Customs," he said.
Previously, T's case went viral because it was suspected that he abused a motorcycle taxi driver in the Dusun Bantulan area, Sidoarum Village, Godean District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region.
According to the police, the abuse occurred due to a misunderstanding between T and the victim.
Korban is the girlfriend of a ride-hailing driver named Ayuningtyas Mega Lukito.
At that moment, actually, Mega was accompanying her boyfriend, Arzeto Duta, who was delivering an order to the perpetrator.
However, because order T was delayed, they got into an argument, and the perpetrator is suspected of assaulting Mega.
"Her boyfriend's driver has scratches and feels as if he was pulled by the hair. From this incident, it was reported to Polresta Sleman on the early morning of July 4th around 02:00 WIB," said AKP Wahyu Agha Ari Septyan, Head of Criminal Investigation at Polresta Sleman, on Saturday (5/7/2025), as quoted from Tribun Jogja.
When the abuse was suspected, Mega once recorded the incident and it went viral on social media.
After that, hundreds of online taxi drivers immediately surrounded T's residence in the early hours of Saturday.
On the other hand, netizens also highlighted T's outburst, who claimed to be someone working in the shipping industry.
She accused the driver of being undisciplined because he arrived late with her order.
"I am a seafarer, ma'am (I work at sea). Do you know what discipline is? (Do you know the meaning of discipline?)," said T, quoted from the video upload of the Instagram account @merapi_uncover.
After that, T became even angrier at Mega because she kept interrupting his speech with an intonation that he found rude.
"Rasah bengak-bengok (don't shout). Kowe bengok-bengok (you are shouting)," T shouted at Mega.
Thank you, Mega then went back to scold T because she felt she had not done the thing that was accused of her when speaking.
Not Working in Shipping, Customs Officer Profession
Ternyata, pengakuan dari T berbanding terbalik dengan kesaksian Ketua RT setempat, Nursalim.
He said the perpetrator is not a seafarer, but works as a staff member at the Customs in Kalimantan Island.
At the time of the incident, Nursalim stated that T had just arrived at his home after taking a leave to return to his hometown.
"Service (meaning). Maybe because of the high tone, it sounds like sailing. He works at the Customs," he said.
As for T, he went back to his hometown because his father had just returned from performing hajj.
"(Ayah T) Just returned from the Hajj, in the afternoon, by nightfall there was already a commotion," he added.
However, according to the police, T is still a student or university student. This is known from his ID card.
Perpetrator Apologizes, Ready for Legal Processing
After this incident, T apologized for the alleged abuse he had committed.
He is also ready to be processed legally for his actions.
"I sincerely apologize to the victims and the ojol driver, especially the Shopee driver, for the incident on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 21:30 WIB. With this, I am sorry and ready to accept the consequences through the applicable legal process," he said, as quoted from the Instagram account @merapi_uncover, Saturday.

"Terlapor (initial T) has been examined but has not yet been determined as a suspect. We are still investigating whether an assault actually occurred or not. Because there were several people present at the time," said Kasat Reskrim Polresta Sleman, AKP Wahyu Agha Ari Septyan.
Raging because of a 5-minute delay
The viral figure T, who claimed to be a sailor, is now under the spotlight after assaulting an online driver.
Previously, T admitted to working as a seafarer, allegedly a sailor.
She was angry because her order was 5 minutes late.
Venting his anger, T abused the ojol driver.
Eventually, T became the target of the rage of hundreds of Shopee Food drivers in Yogyakarta on Saturday (7/5/2025) early in the morning.
His house in Godean was visited by drivers who were chasing him to demand accountability.
As previously reported, T is suspected of assaulting a driver and his girlfriend while delivering food orders.
A five-minute delay triggered problems, leading to an argument and chaos on Thursday (7/3/2025) night.
T who knew his house was surrounded by a crowd then took cover.
Initially, he chose Mapolsek Godean as a safe place.
Then he was transferred to Polresta Sleman.
Figure T is the person who ordered food and got involved in a conflict with driver AD and his girlfriend AM.
T at that time mocked AD by asking how many stars should be given because the order was delivered late.
The one who called himself a sailor also did not accept AM's interruption because he was trying to help explain the cause of the delay.
T took the phone and then angrily scolded AM, who was recording with a mobile phone.
When raging, T was blocked by several people suspected to be his family, but a voice of abuse can be heard in the video towards AM.
Finally, AD and AM, who were separated by the residents, could escape and leave.
AM did not wait long and submitted a report to the police along with the medical examination results.
T has been detained by the Sleman Regency Police and was also confronted by the crowd in front of the police station to apologize.
A video of T also spread, where T personally apologized to the driver and the victim's girlfriend.
T admits to being sorry for his actions and accepts the subsequent legal consequences from the police.
Chronology
Quoting from the X account @merapi_uncover, the complete chronology of the event is rewritten.
A Shopee Food driver with the initial AD (25) and his girlfriend AM (24) experienced unpleasant treatment and physical violence from a customer in Bantulan, Yogyakarta, on Thursday night, July 3, 2025.
This incident started from the delay in delivering the order due to traffic congestion and the automatic double order system from the Shopee Food app.
At 19:00 WIB, AD and AM were in Godean, Yogyakarta, after dinner and buying cat food.
Both decided to continue their AD activities as a Shopee Food driver while heading towards Ketingan, their residence, to avoid the back-and-forth trip from Seturan.
AM picked up AD because night deliveries often go to remote locations.
Around 19:30 WIB, AD received a double order from the Shopee Food system.
Knowing the order from the second location (restaurant) often takes a long time—up to an hour—AD contacted the first customer via chat to explain the double order situation and asked if the order was urgent.
However, the customer immediately called back in an irritable tone, demanding timely delivery without considering AD's explanation.
AD then accelerated towards the first location of a cafe.
Upon arriving there around 19:45 WIB, the order was still being processed, so they had to wait.
After the order was completed, they rushed to the second location, where, as expected, the order was still being processed.
AD and AM have informed the restaurant that the customer is angry due to the delay.
AM also contacted the first customer (coffee) through chat, suggesting to choose the priority option in the app if they are in a hurry, but did not receive a response.
After the order from the second location was completed around 20:15 WIB, AD and AM immediately delivered the first order to the customer in Bantulan area.
They were delayed by heavy traffic on the road due to a cultural parade, according to local residents' information.
ADdan AM is able to find an alternative route, while informing the second customer via chat that they are experiencing traffic congestion.
The customer only replied, "Let the stars speak," which made AM feel uncomfortable.
The order finally arrived at the location around 20:45 WIB, about 5 minutes late compared to the app's estimate.
To anticipate the escalating situation, AM began recording the incident using his phone.
When AD handed over the order, customer T, with a challenging tone, asked, "How many stars do you want to give, Sir?"
AD politely replied that a 5-star rating would greatly help his work performance, while explaining the situation of automatic double orders from the system.
However, T did not accept that explanation.
AM tried to help explain the automatic double order mechanism, but the situation is getting more heated.
T admitted to being a sailor, which triggered an argument.
Tension escalated when a man, suspected to be a family member or relative of T, suddenly dragged AM by lifting his collar, causing abrasions on AM's hands and face from the fingernails.
AM also admitted that he was pulled by two people, one of whom is a man seen in the video, on both sides of his head, causing his glasses to fall off.
AM was shocked and couldn't record everything because his phone memory was full. He tried to do a live stream on Instagram, but the situation got worse.
Fortunately, the locals finally came to separate the fight.
However, AM admitted that the initial efforts of the customer's family to "separate" ended up resulting in further intimidation and violence against him.
AD and AM finally managed to leave the location after the residents intervened.
According to the victim's testimony, this incident left physical injuries on AM, including abrasions on the hands and face, as well as psychological trauma for both of them.
AM hopes that the authorities can process this case quickly and fairly.
"This incident has left not only physical but also psychological wounds. I hope there is justice for us," said AM.
Visum is handed over
Meanwhile, in her Facebook post, AM admitted that she had undergone a medical examination and submitted the results to Sleman Regency Police.
She thanked all Shopee Food drivers in Yogyakarta who helped spread this case.
According to him, there are also many who offer legal assistance for further legal processes.
Currently, he is waiting for the police if they want to summon and interrogate him.
She also apologized to the people who sent personal messages to AM, which she didn't have time to reply to.
This is because AM wants to calm down after the alleged bullying.
Quoting TribunJogja, early Saturday, July 5, 2025, hundreds of online drivers in orange jackets surrounded a resident's house in Bantulan, Godean, Sleman, Yogyakarta.
That action is called a solidarity action following the alleged abuse against AM, the girlfriend of a Shopee Food driver named AD.
The head of the Criminal Investigation Division of Sleman City Police, AKP Wahyu Agha Ari Septyan, has confirmed that the initial cause of the incident was the delay in delivering the order.
"Delayed in delivering due to a double order from the driver. In that situation, the community felt dissatisfied with the delay, leading to an argument," he said.
A quarrel ended in alleged abuse against AM, who had scratch wounds and felt his hair was pulled.
"Pacar drivernya has scratches and feels like he was pulled by the hair," explained Agha.
This incident was reported to Polresta Sleman on the early morning of July 4th around 02.00 WIB.
The mass driver went online and approached T's house at early morning of July 5, but T had already taken refuge at Godean Police Station and was moved to Sleman Regency Police.
Massa is moving to Polresta Sleman to demand an apology.
"Massa approached the Polresta around 02.00 in the morning. The main point was that the person concerned asked for forgiveness," said Agha.
T apologized in front of the officers, but the crowd remained unsatisfied and moved back to Bantulan.
At Bantulan intersection, the police blocked to prevent anarchist actions, but the crowd destroyed public facilities, including the Godean Police Station's car.
Police continue to try to calm the situation to prevent further riots.
