The three suspects are charged under Article 351 and 359 of the Criminal Code regarding assault and negligence causing death, with a possible sentence of five years in prison.
The suspect was determined on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and now the Investigation Initiation Order (SPDP) has been submitted to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
Director of Reskrimum of NTB Police, Comrade Syarif Hidayat, said the reason for detaining M is because the person concerned resides outside of NTB.
This detention facilitates the examination of the documents that have already been submitted to the investigating prosecutor.
"So we keep the initial M to make it easier to obtain information if there are clues from the prosecutor," said Syarif, Friday (7/4/2025).
Two other suspects are former police officers who reside in NTB, making it easier for investigators to request statements.
In this case, the police have already questioned 18 eyewitnesses and 5 expert witnesses, including a forensic expert, a criminal expert, a polygraph expert, a forensic expert, and a doctor from Bhayangkara Hospital who first examined the victim.

"Mine is the backbone of the family, he supports his mother and five siblings," said Yan.
Because involved in the case of Brigadier Nurhadi's death, M has experienced psychological problems including mental pressure and severe stress since being detained.
Yan revealed during the examination process that M was always cooperative, although living outside of NTB.
Detention of M Requested to Be Suspended
Yan Mangandar Putra, representative of the Reform Police Alliance, stated that M was designated as a suspect on June 17, 2025, and began to be detained on July 1, 2025, based on detention order number: SP.HAN/80/VII/RES.1.6/2025/Ditreskrimum.
Yan said his party has already submitted a letter for the postponement of M's detention to the Ditreskrimum of NTB Police.
If the detention suspension is approved, suspect M will be placed in a safe house owned by UPTD of the Women and Children's Protection Agency (PPA) of NTB.
The reason for requesting a detention delay is because the alliance considers there is injustice in this case.
Because Compol I Made Yogi Purusa and Ipda Haris Chandra were not detained, although they were previously designated as suspects.
"Why weren't they also detained, even though, although they have already been fired, it is still very possible that they have the potential to destroy evidence, influence witnesses, and interfere with the ongoing investigation," said Yan on Thursday (7/3/2025).
In addition, the detention suspension was proposed because the other two suspects are former officers of Polda NTB and have previously held important positions.
Yan stated that the activity in Gili Trawangan, the location where Brigadier Nurhadi died, was initiated by suspect Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa.
Meanwhile, according to Yan, M was only a person asked by Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa to accompany him for one night.
2 Suspects in the Murder of Brigadir Nurhadi Are Former Chief, Not Detained
Two members of the Propam Police of West Nusa Tenggara, Kompol YG and Ipda HC, have been designated as suspects in the case of assault that resulted in the death of their subordinate, Brigadir Muhammad Nurhadi.
However, they have not been detained yet despite being considered as suspects.
As for the other suspect who has been detained, it is a woman with the initial M who was at the scene of the incident.
Dirreskrimum Polda NTB, Kombes Syarif Hidayat, also revealed the reason why his party has not yet detained Yogi and Haris, which is because they have not admitted their actions.
Although not yet detained, Syarif is confident that Yogi and Haris will not destroy the evidence.
She emphasized that her side does not need the second suspect's confession, as the testimony of experts and the seizure of evidence are considered sufficient.
"Since their mobile phones have been confiscated, how can they eliminate the evidence? They have not confessed or denied their actions, but we are not limited to or need a confession. The testimony of the experts is sufficient to establish them as suspects," said Syarif, quoted from Tribun Lombok, Saturday (5/7/2025).
On the other hand, Syarif explained the reason for only detaining M, as he resides outside of NTB. He said that M is feared not to comply with the police summons regarding this case.
"Meanwhile, suspect M (is detained because) from outside the area, so there is concern that he will not appear during the investigation process," he said.
Syarif said his party would handle this case professionally even though there is a suspect who is a police officer.
"So far, there are no witnesses who feel pressured; we are professional and we do this carefully because the person we are facing is not an ordinary person, former Head of the Narcotics Division and former Head of the Criminal Investigation Division," he said.
Currently, Yogi and Haris have been dismissed as members of the Polri, and their appeal was rejected.
