Best for you , Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) opens the possibility to re-call the children and wife of the former Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Nurhadi . KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said this opportunity is possible if investigators need their testimony for Nurhadi's Money Laundering Crime (TPPU) case. "That possibility exists," said Budi at the KPK's Merah Putih building in South Jakarta on Friday, July 4, 2025.
As for Nurhadi's wife, her name is Tin Zuraida, and his child's name is Rizqi Aulia Rahmi. Both were summoned by the KPK to be questioned in the same case in 2022. However, both failed to appear without any reason on April 25, 2022.
At that time, Tin Zuraida, who is listed as a staff expert of the Ministry of State Apparatus Reform and her child were planned to be examined as witnesses in the case of money laundering related to the handling of cases in the Supreme Court.
Acting Spokesperson of the KPK, who was still held by Ali Fikri at that time, stated that both were absent without a clear reason. According to Ali, the investigators will soon reschedule their summonses.
Previously, the KPK once again arrested and detained former Secretary of the Supreme Court, Nurhadi. This convicted person for bribery was just declared conditionally released from the Class I Sukamiskin Prison, Bandung, West Java.
"Yes, KPK carried out an arrest and then detained Mr. NHD (Nurhadi) at Sukamiskin Prison," said Budi on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
Budi said the reason for this re-arrest is because the KPK detected suspicions of money laundering crimes within the Supreme Court environment. The arrest, said Budi, was carried out early on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
Before being arrested again by the KPK, Nurhadi was sentenced to 6 years in prison plus a fine of Rp 500 million, which is equivalent to 3 months' imprisonment, by the Corruption Crime Court on March 10, 2021.
KPK designated Nurhadi as a suspect in December 2019. He and his son-in-law, Rezky Herbiyono, are suspected of receiving bribes and gratuities amounting to Rp 4.6 billion from the director of PT Multicon Indrajaya Terminal, Hiendra Soenjoto.
This case is the result of the development of a corruption operation (OTT) carried out by KPK on April 20, 2016. At that time, businessman Doddy Ariyanto Supeno gave Rp 50 million to the former Court Clerk of Jakarta Central District Court, Edy Nasution.
On February 13, 2020, Ali Fikri announced that Nurhadi, Rezky, and Hiendra had been included in the Wanted Persons List (DPO) or fugitives, after Nurhadi failed to appear twice for KPK examinations.
The KPK arrested Nurhadi on June 1, 2020, through an operation led by senior investigator Novel Baswedan. Nurhadi was arrested at his home in the Simprug area, South Jakarta. Nurhadi's presence was detected from the habit of his wife, Tin Zuraida, who often met with Supreme Court officials.
The KPK charged Nurhadi with receiving bribes and gratifications for handling cases, totaling Rp 83,013,955,000 or more than Rp 83 billion. This amount has increased from the initial suspicion of the anti-corruption agency regarding the amount of money received by Nurhadi, which was Rp 46 billion.
Nurhadi and Rezky Herbiyono were sentenced to 6 years in prison plus a fine of Rp 500 million, which is substituted by 3 months in prison, during the sentencing session on Wednesday night, March 10, 2021. The Jakarta Corruption Court judges considered both of them proven to have received bribes amounting to Rp 35.726 billion and gratifications from several parties amounting to Rp 13.787 billion.
The sentence is lower than the prosecution's (JPU) request from KPK, which asked that Nurhadi be sentenced to 12 years in prison plus a fine of Rp 1 billion as a substitute for 6 months in jail.
Meanwhile, his son-in-law, Rezky Herbiyono, was sentenced to 11 years in prison plus a fine of Rp 1 billion, with a subsidiary imprisonment of 6 months. Nurhadi and Rezky were also not required to pay compensation of Rp 83.013 billion, with a subsidiary imprisonment of 2 years, as requested by the Public Prosecutor's Office.
