Through Ahmad Dhani's YouTube channel "In the News," the musician who is now married to Mulan Jameela released a video titled "Again!!! Maia's Rumors Part 2: Ahmad Dhani's Domestic Violence Accusations" on Friday evening (7/4/2025).
This is not the first time Ahmad Dhani has raised the issue of his past with Maia. Previously, he had uploaded a similar video titled "Compilation of Gibah and Maia Estianty's Slanders (at a time when she already had a husband)."
In a 12-minute-30-second video, Dhani once again denied the domestic violence (KDRT) accusations that had been directed at him by Maia Estianty.
The video starts with an unknown videographer showing a Closure Investigation Order (SP3). The document was issued by Polda Metro Jaya.
"Either today or tonight, the issue is about the SP3 letter, which states that there is no evidence that ADP, alias Ahmad Dhani Prasetyo, alias Macan Suroboyo, committed domestic violence or abuse," said the man who recorded the video.
The letter stated that the investigation against Ahmad Dhani related to alleged domestic violence or KDRT was stopped as of November 3, 2008, due to insufficient evidence.
" This letter stops the investigation of the case on behalf of the suspect, Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo as of November 3, 2008, because there is insufficient evidence," he continued.
So after reading this SP3 letter, there is no domestic violence in the marriage mentioned by Maia," he emphasized again. "So Dhani did not commit domestic violence according to the SP3.
Through this document, the father of Al, El, and Dul wants to emphasize that he has never been proven to have committed violence against Maia as reported in the past.
The video then showed old clips from entertainment news that had previously broadcast Maia's confession regarding the alleged domestic violence incident. In the interview, Maia revealed her painful experiences.
"It happened at half past five in the morning. After coming back from my studio, I received an SMS which was perhaps a bit unpleasant. Why send an SMS? There's a person here, just talk to them directly," said Maia Estianty.
"Finally, I was kicked out of the house and pushed, dragged, and even thrown out with my suitcase. I was also separated from his subordinates, from the living room all the way to the grass outside," he continued.
Regarding the incident, the musician who is now the wife of Irwan Mussry then reported Dhani for suspected domestic violence and admitted to undergoing a medical examination to prove the abuse she experienced.
"So I reported it the second time, and yes, it's enough here because I felt threatened. Then at four o'clock, the medical examination at Jakarta Hospital. Early in the morning, I gave the results," said Maia.
Meanwhile, at that time, Ahmad Dhani's side through his lawyer had denied all the allegations. Even one of Dhani's domestic workers at that time claimed that Maia exaggerated the story.
Nevertheless, Maia seems indifferent to Dhani's statements. She remains firm in her confession and states that everything she said is based on her personal experience.
"I'm just sad if other people don't believe what I say. It's a genuine confession from the bottom of my heart," said Maia.
"Frankly, I have experienced physical violence, I have bruises and contusions. There is a medical report. Let people say whatever they want," he emphasized. (*)
