Same-sex marriage of Indonesian citizens living in Australia, wedding pre-photo using Javanese customs is criticized by netizens

Best for you. Viral same-sex wedding of Indonesian citizens (WNI) living in Australia. Prewedding photo using Javanese customs is criticized by netizens.
A same-sex couple named Chiko and Wiran displayed their prewedding photos wearing traditional Javanese attire. Through his personal Instagram account, Chiko shared their affection without hesitation, despite receiving many criticisms.
Chiko mentioned that their relationship was a destiny. As for this man, he is a widower from Jember and has one child, while his partner Wiran is a young man from Lombok.
In their prewedding photos, Chiko and Wiran appear wearing traditional Javanese wedding clothes. They wore black beskap decorated with golden sequins, not forgetting the jarik and blangkon with matching patterns.
In the photo, it is also visible that they are holding Chiko's daughter. Their parents also attended the photo in traditional Javanese attire.
"Neither do I need your permission, the universe knows how great this love is," wrote Chiko, as reported by Serambinews.com.
In the photo caption, Chiko said he doesn't care about the stigma and comments from netizens. For him, what matters is being with the person he loves, Wiran.
Meanwhile, in his social media account, Chiko often shares his affection with Wiran and calls the man from Lombok as "wife." The two are known to live together in Australia, while Chiko's daughter lives in Jember.
Chiko is known to work as a salon stylist in Australia. He admitted that he has been living in the country for about 15 years together with Jeef and Brett, who are believed to be a same-sex couple.
Meanwhile, their Javanese wedding photos have received criticism from netizens. Some netizens regret the way they incorporated traditional elements in their photos, and there are also those who feel sorry for Chiko's daughter.
"Java does not teach homosexuality, better to delete this, whatever you want to be LGBT, don't use my ethnic traditional clothes," wrote account @pris97_
"Do not build your dream with the child among you. He does not understand the life you have created," said account @masdelian***
Although many people criticized his same-sex relationship, he admitted he didn't care about it. Chiko even supported his partner Wiran, who also received insults.
"Being a same-sex couple is not a job, it is already the fate set by Allah. What is called work is like this. Even though he often comes home late, Wiran remains enthusiastic and never tired, because being the backbone of the family is not easy," wrote Chiko.
"Hope you are strong, my friend, facing this unfair world for us. Insults, curses, and scoldings, and I am sure all of this will make you stronger in living this life," he added.
As for the Indonesian government through the Constitutional Court (MK), it has previously stated that same-sex marriage cannot be legalized. This is considered not in accordance with the constitution and violates the first principle of Pancasila.
"Lah, according to the Almighty God, the sunatullah (circumcision) must be for both men and women. Right? Yes, then same-sex marriage, in my opinion, is not appropriate in Indonesia," said Constitutional Court Judge Arief Hidayat.
Quoting from Kompas.com, Arief said that Indonesia has a model of divine and humanitarian values different from Western ideologies. Therefore, same-sex marriage clearly violates religious, customary, and national rules.
"Because the constitution is based on Pancasila. The ideology of Pancasila has the first principle as Belief in the One and Only God. (Same-sex marriage) violates the constitution and violates the first principle of Pancasila," he emphasized. (*)
