The Investigation Supervision Agency (Wassidik) of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police has postponed the holding of the case review for the alleged fake diploma case of Jokowi to next week upon the request of the Team for the Defense of Clergymen and Activists (TPUA), which asked for the involvement of several names.

The implementation of the special case handling regarding the alleged fake diploma of Jokowi by the Biro Wassidik Bareskrim Polri is a follow-up to the request from TPUA.
Thursday (7/3/2025), Roy Suryo said when contacted, "The latest information received from TPUA, the case is postponed until tomorrow Wednesday, next week."
Although there were delays, Roy Suryo stated that he was already ready to attend the special hearing.
"I am already ready, prepared to attend if there is a special court case related to that in Bareskrim," he said.
Previously, TPUA submitted a letter to the Head of the Bureau (Karo) Wassidik Bareskrim Polri, requesting the investigator to conduct a special case review regarding the public's complaint about Jokowi's diploma.
"we came here to Karo Wasidik as the investigator's superior to urge the case title specifically," said Deputy Chairman of TPUA Rizal Fadilah when he was met in the Bareskrim Polri Lobby, Jakarta, Monday (May 26, 2025).
Rizal said that there are some irregularities in the investigation process that led them to file this special charge.
Recently, the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) Bareskrim Polri has stopped the investigation of the case because it is considered that no criminal act was found in it.
"The investigation and previous charges carried out by Bareskrim are legally defective," Rizal said.
She made an excuse, the absence of the reporter and the reported in some stages made the handling procedure legally defective.
Then, Rizal revealed that some experts included in their complaint file, such as Rismon Sianipar and Roy Suryo, were not questioned by the investigators at Bareskrim.
This, in his opinion, is an incomplete or insufficient investigation.

This request letter is also copied to President Prabowo Subianto, Chief of Police General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the leaders of the DPR RI, up to the Attorney General's Office.
TPUA Requests a Number of Names to Be Involved
Previously, Polri had scheduled a special investigation meeting regarding the alleged fake diploma of Jokowi on July 2, 2025.
However, due to the request from TPUA, this special case was postponed.
Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of the Police Public Relations Division, stated that the case review was postponed because TPUA requested a new schedule while waiting for clarification from the parties they wanted to involve in the process.
"In this case, TPUA, on July 2nd last year 2025, sent a letter regarding the request for names to be involved in the special court proceeding, asking for the rescheduling of the special court proceeding until they obtain certainty about the names involved in the aforementioned special court proceeding," Trunoyudo said to journalists on Thursday (3/7/2025).
Trunoyudo explained that the court summons had already been sent at the end of June 2025.
"Previously, the community's complaint letter was followed up on June 30th regarding the invitation for a special court hearing involving the complainant and the accused, on June 30th," said Trunoyudo.
Trunoyudo explained that the process of handling the case was carried out in accordance with the internal regulations applicable within the Bareskrim Polri.
However, on July 2, 2025, the TPUA again submitted a letter to Polri.
In the letter, they requested that certain names be included in the case title and asked for a rescheduling.
Regarding the letter, Polri responded to the request by rescheduling the case review from June 30 to July 9, 2025.
This is done so that the parties requested by TPUA can be present, such as the National Commission for Human Rights (Komnas HAM), the People's Representative Council (DPR) of Indonesia, Roy Suryo, and Rismon Hasiholan.
"So, because there is a new letter regarding the application for a special case degree on July 2nd, TPUA. It requests the presence of several name applications," said Trunoyudo.

Bareskrim says Jokowi's diploma is identical to classmates
Previously, the Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) of Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, stated that the investigation into the report of alleged fake diplomas of former President Joko Widodo has been stopped.
This was decided after Bareskrim completed the forensic laboratory (labfor) test on Jokowi's diploma.
Lab test results stated that the diploma of the former head of state is identical to that of his colleague from the Faculty of Forestry, Gadjah Mada University (UGM).
"From the complaint process, it can be concluded that there is no criminal act, so this case has been suspended," said Djuhandhani during a press conference at Bareskrim Polri, Jakarta, on Thursday (22/5/2025).
Djuhandhani explained that the investigators obtained the original diploma of Joko Widodo, a Forestry Bachelor's degree, with NIM 1681 KT issued on November 5, 1985.
The license has also been tested in the laboratory, along with comparison samples from three of Jokowi's classmates.
"It has been tested in the laboratory, the following comparative samples from three colleagues during their studies at the Faculty of Forestry, UGM, including paper material, paper protection, printing techniques, handwritten ink, stamp seals, and the dean's and rector's signature ink from the researcher, therefore the evidence and the comparative samples are identical or come from the same product," he said.
