"Indeed, according to the data we obtained, it states that Enos Tipagau is the leader of the KKB in Tigindiga Village, who is the Commander of Kodap VIII," he explained in a written statement received by Kompas.com, Sunday (6/7/2025).
This one-star general stated that the area includes Bilogai, Kumbalagupa, Baitapa, Puyagiya, Pesiga, Dusun Dapa, Tipunggau, and Kampung Jalai, which are part of those led by Undius Kogoya.
In addition, Faizal added, the KKB Enos Tipagau is a prisoner who was sentenced to 3 years, but escaped from the Class IIB Nabire Prison.
This is in accordance with the request letter for assistance in searching or arresting the prisoner named Enos Tipagau from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia.
"After his escape, Enos rejoined the KKB network in Intan Jaya Regency," he said.
Previously, Faizal Ramadhani confirmed the existence of a shootout that killed a member of the KKB.
"Yes, there was a shooting contact between the Cartenz Peace Force and the KKB in Baitapa Village. As a result, one KKB member, Enos Tipagau, was killed," he said in a written statement received by Kompas.com on Saturday night.
According to Faizal, before taking action, their team from the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force first conducted an investigation into the presence of the Enos Tipagau KKB and the location where they were hiding.
"At 07.14 WIT today, a shooting contact occurred, resulting in the death of KKB Enos Tipagau," he said.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Information Center (Kapuspen) of the TNI, Major General TNI Kristomei Sianturi, stated that Enos died in a military operation in Baitapa Village, Baitapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua, on Saturday (7/5/2025).
In the operation, the joint TNI units received information from the community regarding the escape route of OPM members in the highlands.
"Operation was carried out in a measured way, based on accurate information from the community," said Kristomei in his official statement on Sunday (7/6/2025).
Kristomei stated that Enos died at the scene with a gunshot wound.
Meanwhile, there are no casualties from the TNI or the civilian population.
According to him, Enos is the perpetrator of the series of violent actions.
Enos is held responsible for the brutal shootings of civilians, including farmers, laborers, and local religious figures.
Not only that, the group led by Enos often fearlessly killed indigenous Papuans who supported the government's presence.
"This action is a form of state presence to protect the Papuan people from the violent actions of armed separatist groups who often spread terror against the civilian population," said Kristomei.
The high-ranking TNI officer also revealed that the group led by Enos burned houses of residents, traditional honai, health centers, and schools.
They also took project workers and residents hostage, using them as human shields.
They are not ashamed to kill as a form of propaganda to instill fear.
This group, according to Kristomei, also launched a sudden attack on TNI/Polri posts involving children and teenagers.
They then spread videos of each action they took as anti-government propaganda.
"their reckless actions not only threaten national security, but also destroy the future of the Papuan society itself," added the TNI Spokesperson.

Enos Tipagau is a prisoner who was sentenced to three years in prison.
However, he escaped from the Class IIB Nabire Prison.
In the OPM, he was the Battalion Commander of Kodap VIII Soanggama Intan Jaya Central Papua.
Enos Tipagau is known as an important figure in the separatist group Organisasi Papua Merdeka (OPM), which has been the mastermind behind various terrorist actions and human rights violations that have taken lives, created fear, and hindered the development of Papua.
Major General TNI Lucky Avianto revealed a series of brutal actions carried out by Enos Tipagau and his group.
Among them, they attacked and shot civilians, including construction workers, farmers, and even local religious figures, who are none other than the indigenous Papuans (OAP) themselves.
In addition, Enos Tipagau and his group are also known for not hesitating to take the lives of civilians who support and live within the framework of NKRI.
Lucky explained in his actions, Enos Tipagau burned the houses of the residents, traditional honai houses, schools, and the health center. This "burnt earth" action not only caused material losses but also trauma for the community, especially Papuan children and women.
"Those who are no less despicable, this group uses teenagers and young people as human shields when they carry out attacks against TNI/Polri security posts, including in Baitapa District and Mamba Village, Sugapa District," said Lucky.
In addition, Enos Tipagau and his group often kidnap locals and workers from outside Papua who are working on infrastructure projects.
For victims who were tortured and killed as a form of propaganda and terror to instill fear in the Papua region.
"It's just a matter of time (for the suppression of OPM), with full support and sympathy from the community, especially the OAP, to us. Insha Allah, our brothers in eastern Indonesia can soon live safely, peacefully, prosperously, and happily," said Lucky.
List of Enos Tipagau's Crimes
The following is a list of crimes committed by Enos Tipagau:
1. On February 15, 2021, there was a shooting incident in Kampung Mamba, Intan Jaya Regency, which resulted in the death of a TNI soldier, the late Private Ginanjar.
2. February 8, 2021, involved the shooting of a civilian named Ramli NR.
3. On October 26, 2021, there was a shooting incident in Mamba Village, Sugapa District, resulting in injured persons named Asep Herman (TNI member), Yoakim Majau (6 years old), and a deceased victim, Apertinus Sondegau (2 years old).
4. Enos is also known to have ordered Undius Kogoya to send weapons, and stated that his group was ready to carry out an attack.
5. On October 29, 2021, there was a fire at the kiosk and one ambulance vehicle belonging to Bilorai Airport, which occurred in the airport complex, Intan Jaya Regency.
