Around 10:45 PM WIB, the window glass next to Widya's seat suddenly broke.
Widya revealed that someone threw something at the window next to her seat.
"Immediately panicked, I was calm inside the train, then suddenly someone threw a stone at the KAI window. July 6, 2025, at 10:45 PM. Compartment 2 exclusive no 4C 4D," Widya said in her post caption, reported by TribunnewsBogor.com on Monday (7/7/2025).
Shocked, Widya immediately looked down when the window next to her seat broke.
Widya suddenly held her right eye.
That was because the broken window glass hit Widya's eyes.
After the incident, other passengers quickly rescued Widya.
The woman with long hair also immediately moved her seat.
"Riding the night train from Yogyakarta to Surabaya. Everything was quiet, until suddenly... BRAK! The compartment window was hit by a stone from outside. I reflexively moved from my seat," said Widya.
The heartbreaking incident that happened to him was finally shared by Widya on social media.
Widya warned netizens to always be cautious when traveling long distances.
"But this incident made me realize, a sense of safety can be disturbed in an instant — and sometimes we have to be the first person to take action. Stay safe, friends, especially if you're traveling far," ended Widya.

People are curious whether Widya received immediate treatment after the incident or not.
PT KAI revealed that all passengers involved in the accident will receive treatment from KAI.
For the case of Widya, PT KAI has taken responsibility for the victim's treatment.
"Every passenger traveling by train, if involved in an accident such as being hit by a stone thrown by an irresponsible party, will certainly receive medical assistance from PT KAI. Regarding the evidence mentioned, of course the staff on duty at the time of the incident will immediately conduct an investigation," wrote the official PT KAI account in Widya's post.
The explanation from PT KAI is also confirmed by Widya.
Widya admitted that he was directly handled by KAI officers after the incident.
"Already handled directly," Widya admitted.
Widya also mentioned that the KAI party promised to take responsibility until Widya's eyesight recovered.
"Because there was a piece of glass that entered the eye, treatment until recovery is promised (by KAI party)," said Widya, as cited by TribunnewsBogor.com from Tribun Jakarta.
Regarding the perpetrator of the stone-throwing that triggered the incident involving Widya, the PT KAI party is currently conducting an investigation.
It means that until now, the person who threw the stone is still being searched for.
"At this moment, the relevant unit has already conducted an investigation, and we hope that the perpetrator of the stone-throwing will be quickly arrested and fairly prosecuted for his actions," wrote the official PT KAI account.
