A Bandung, West Java-based brand of adventure equipment and apparel donates 2,000 schoolbags to children in remote areas of Indonesia. This program was carried out at the beginning of July 2025, coinciding with the school holiday season.

Eiger Junior bag donations started from the remote areas of West Java. Then it moved to the Mentawai Islands, proceeded to the interior of Central Sulawesi, entered the remote areas of Central Halmahera, and reached Seram Island in Maluku Province.
In West Java, Eiger distributed bags in Bandung Barat Regency. From the city of Bandung, it takes almost three hours of travel. On that day, the EIGER Junior team brought approximately 50 school bags for the students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Cangkuang, Kampung Langkob, Desa Bojong Salam, Kecamatan Rongga, Bandung Barat Regency.
A three-hour journey across the inter-district route, the Eiger Junior Team arrived at the last point accessible by four-wheel vehicles. At this point, asphalt has ended, leaving only a rocky and muddy path leading to the hill on the other side, where MI Cangkuang is located.
Asep, the principal of MI Cangkuang, said that the journey could only continue using motorcycles that have adjusted tires and engine power to pass through mountain slopes, rocks, and mud.
After breaking through the jungle, rocky and muddy path for almost 45 minutes, the Eiger Junior team arrived at MI Cangkuang. The long journey from Bandung City was joyfully and vigorously welcomed by students of grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3 who had just finished their classes.
Although their classroom is far from being decent, with a leaking roof and cracked floors here and there, their happiness is clearly visible.
Besides school bags, there are also special letters written by children from other cities who purchased EIGER bags from period 1 to July 31, 2025. This letter contains messages, along with prayers connected through Eiger Junior, to be sent to children in remote areas of Indonesia.
Agnes Lukito, Head Division Eiger Women & Junior, directly distributed these school bags to the remote areas of Bandung Regency. She said, one bag on the shoulders of our children, delivers one hope for the future of children in remote areas.
"Today, we have distributed Eiger Junior bags in Bojong Salam Village, West Java - as part of a sharing program for children across Indonesia. This program encourages Indonesian children to learn about sharing and caring, by donating Eiger Junior bags to their friends in remote areas," said Agnes.
During the period from July 1 to 31, 2025, when purchasing EIGER Junior bags at Eiger Adventure offline stores, children can write letters for other children in remote areas who will later receive Eiger bags. ***
